Yes, it’s late. Hush. (more…)
I did the PSA assignment for 5 stars. Unfortunately, Spencer and I couldn’t find a third person to make a group, but that’s life. Here, I tried to do a continuation of my previous video with Sarah Mustard and Delia. I tried to keep Sarah’s deadpan voice. I thought that if Sarah put out a warning to the horrendous banana thieves, it might go like this. That’s a lie, I’m just using Sarah to tell bad jokes. Sarah is actually me. I am the bad jokes.
This assignment wasn’t difficult, but it was very time consuming. It took me about two hours just to find and download good stock images and videos. Speaking of:
The rest was me and my face, so I’m assuming I can use that royalty-free. The music was Three Pointer Long in iMovie. I downloaded the videos using a converter. It didn’t give me any trouble. I then just cut the parts that I wanted, put them in a rough order, did a rough script, and did a voiceover to the video. I sped up some clips in order to make them match the script and the timing. And as always, exporting took forever.
Also, PS: All of my videos are unlisted so unless you go through here or save the link, you won’t see them ever.

I did this Dramatic Reading Remix assignment for 3.5 stars. I found Chelsea Irizarry’s Shadow Theme Song and thought it sounded really cool. I decided to do a dramatic reading of Frank Sinatra’s The Lady is a Tramp, because I’ve established it as Delia’s favorite song. Dramatic readings are one of my favorite things- I have a special hat for them.
Yes, I was wearing it while dramatically reading lyrics.
I recorded the lyrics in audacity and then imported the theme song. I then added silence to space out the lines in order to make the whole thing flow better. I also put the sax solo where the instrumental solo is in the song itself. The theme song actually went surprisingly well with The Lady is a Tramp- I was expecting a terrible disaster! I did normalize my voice and made the song quieter, but there was very little other editing done. I’ll see how I feel about this in the morning since I’m incredibly tired, but right now I’m feeling pretty good about this remix. As always, criticism is welcome, wanted, and appreciated!
This is Kristi. She is a great love of mine, one of my best friends, and a beautiful person. She goes to school in New York and spends most of her breaks in Bermuda, so we haven’t seen each other in far too long. We met in fourth grade in Ms. Lewis’s class after I left Ms. Miller’s class, and we sat near each other. I remember she always wore matching tracksuits and scrunchies, which was super weird. We became fast friends, and remained friends through high school. Unfortunately, in college, our schedules are horrible. She became a club leader, socialite, and got herself a boyfriend while I joined low-key clubs and time consuming classes (cough cough)
She’s on Spring Break, though, and is staying with me until tomorrow evening! I’m so so happy right now. I asked her to take a selfie and I edited it in picmonkey using all of the shitty filters and fun colors to express my happiness. I had some free time because Kristi was occupied with the Bae. Tomorrow morning, my boyfriend is coming and all three of us are going to go on adventures. All of my Thursday classes were canceled, the forecast is good, and I’ll be surrounded by my favorite people. This is where people say #blessed.
I didn’t know what this show was getting into it. Maybe it was a noir script with D&D themes? A D&D style noir mystery? It ended up being a group having a game of D&D using their noir characters and progressing through a murder mystery. (more…)
